We have been through everything that is hardest in a panel block — the insulation, the roof, the risers. Years of owners' meetings and a fair amount of money.

Why I mention it

Buy an uninsulated panel block and you pay for the same things yourself — after waiting for the whole building to agree. Here it is already done and paid for.

Bedrooms and living room are separated. The two bedrooms sit on the east side, linked by a corridor; the living room takes the whole west side. No walk-through rooms.
Converted from a 3-room to a 4-room layout. The original kitchen became a separate room and the kitchen moved. The toilet was moved into the bathroom and the freed-up space is now a storage room.
The washing machine and dishwasher have their own room. Next to the kitchenette there is a separate utility room — the appliances are neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen. Rare in a panel-block apartment.
The floors are solid hardwood, not laminate. Ceramic tiles in the wet rooms and the corridor. Hardwood can be sanded and re-varnished to look new; laminate has to be replaced.
